The characters all had their own personalities that showed through - Tessa with her hardheaded, too big for this small town, independent woman vibe; Beau with his full golden retriever vibes; and Shep with his broody, quiet, and sensitive vibe. The balance of spice to plot was perfect. The plot was typical of a romance novel with a happily ever after, but did not feel duplicative of other stories and was not boring. The spice was oh so spicy, but not overwhelming for someone who would not typically read smut-only books.”
